8-2202: Filming in County Owned Assets and Facilities

Purpose

This policy establishes a comprehensive, transparent, and uniform framework for commercial filming activities undertaken upon or inside the premises of a facility, property, or asset owned or leased by the County of Sacramento.​

• Board of Supervisors delegated authority to County Executive ​

Scope

The policy covers all County departments responsible for County-owned assets and facilities. This policy excludes filming and photography by members of the press providing news coverage and/or coverage of County activities and events.​

Policy

County officers and employees must adhere to specific procedures and practices when interacting with television and film production entities having an interest in utilizing County properties, facilities, or assets in their production. ​
